You must return the certificate of motor insurance to us with a covering letter detailing why you wish to cancel. The cancellation and any refund due to you will only be calculated from the day that we receive the certificate of motor insurance.
If you only insure one vehicle with us and intend replacing it soon you should let us know before returning the certificate to us as it may prove beneficial to you to leave the policy running. If you insure more than one vehicle with us, you only need to return the certificate for the vehicle that you have disposed of as cover will remain in place for the others
